Stephen’s passion for creating inspired programmatic design solutions strongly influences Integrate’s conceptual process. “Our process is very much about clarifying and exposing a brand’s true values and personality,” he says. Though he draws his inspiration from contemporary fine artists and architects like Noguchi, Maya Lin and Steven Holl, he believes even commercial work, made well, can emerge as elegant and enduring. Stephen believes distinctive brand communication is forged out of pressing to find simplicity in the solution to an assignment. “Our challenge is to use design to solve real business problems in a thoughtful and authentic way,” he said. Prior to founding Integrate, Stephen was a senior designer for Retail Planning Associates. Stephen attended Xavier College and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising Design from the Columbus College of Art and Design. |
